B-Hav Project

Throughout 2024 we delivered a project offering support to individuals impacted by purely Behavioural Addictions. These addictions don’t involve any substance but can be just as destructive to the health and wellbeing of the individual and their family.

The type of addictions clients suffered with included gambling, shopping, internet, pornography and sex.

This was made possible by funding from Newcastle Building Society, we are joined by the 141 individuals who directly or indirectly benefited from the project.

B-Happy Project

As part of Stockton’s new Wellbeing Hub, staff at Bridges can offer support. Mental Health provision in the area is changing and we are proud to be part of that transformation, as such we can offer one to one support sessions to help you deal with mental issues. Where required direct referrals can be made to primary or secondary care organisations, such as Impact on Teesside or Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS Trust. Also, if you are a carer or family member of someone struggling with their mental health and you feel you could benefit from support, we provide an holistic, person centred service for you.
